PT Thredio Engineering has completed the Witness Test of the repaired Antisurge Controller Module for PT Badak LNG. This activity was carried out for three days, from February 11 to 13, 2025, with the aim of ensuring that the two units of Module Antisurge Controller that have been repaired can return to normal functioning according to the manufacturer's specifications.
This Witness Test activity is an important part of the repair process which includes a series of technical tests. The checking process is carried out thoroughly on the two units of the Antisurge Controller Module that have been repaired. In addition, a surge simulation was carried out by providing some input data to the module to observe the resulting output response. The test results are then analyzed to ensure that both modules work according to the parameters specified by the manufacturer.
The Antisurge Controller Module has an important role in maintaining compressor stability by preventing the occurrence of surge, which is a dangerous condition that can damage equipment. Therefore, this test is a crucial step in ensuring that the equipment can function optimally after the repair process.
This activity also aims to provide confidence to PT Badak LNG that the two repaired module units have met the required performance standards. Through careful and measured testing, PT Thredio Engineering ensured that the modules could return to work normally and according to the manufacturer's specifications. With the implementation of this activity, PT Thredio Engineering emphasizes its commitment in providing high quality repair services and guaranteeing the reliability of repair results.
