PT Thredio Engineering is proud to have completed the Automatic Generation Control (AGC) system integration project at the Darajat Unit 1 Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP). This project is a collaboration with PT PLN Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU, as part of an initiative to improve the performance and efficiency of renewable energy-based power plants. The AGC system plays a crucial role in maintaining power generation stability by automatically adjusting power output based on load demand from the control center. In its implementation, the Thredio team was responsible for installing the equipment, integrating it with the existing Distributed Control System (DCS), and conducting comprehensive system configuration and testing..
The entire process was carried out with a measured and cautious approach, given the importance of data and time synchronization in the power generation control system. Additionally, workplace safety standards and system testing protocols were also top priorities during project execution. This integration enables the Darajat Unit 1 Geothermal Power Plant to respond to power demands more quickly and accurately, while supporting more stable power management in the national electricity grid. Furthermore, this success reinforces the role of geothermal energy as a clean, efficient, and sustainable energy source.
This project represents a significant achievement for PT Thredio Engineering in providing reliable industrial control technology solutions and is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to continue contributing to the development of the energy sector in Indonesia.
