Unit PLTP Darajat of PT Indonesia Power Kamojang POMU controlled by Infi 90 ABB DCS, it was an old version of DCS that lots of minor capabillty.

CHALLENGE :

New HMI version have different architectrue with existing system. No consistent project source files, so some display is not the same with as built.

Execution started by acquiring existing data and start conversion to new software version. Many HMI cannot be converted because of compatibillty issue, so it need manual editing. After hardware replacement and software deployment, new HMI is tested and compared to existing OIS to make sure all item is consistent.

RESULT :

 New HMI successfully installed and can operate with existing DCS without any issue.
